Hiring Sequoia as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Even with a three hour time difference & complete opposite schedules, she was very timely in her responses, communicative, professional and it felt like she genuinely was excited to be apart of our day.

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Sequoia for our newlywed photos, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the very beginning, she was so sweet and accommodating,answering every one of my (many!) questions promptly and with so much patience.
She recommended a stunning park in Midland for our shoot, and it truly was the perfect backdrop. When we met in person, it felt like reuniting with an old friend from high school but make no mistake, she was still incredibly professional throughout the entire session.
Sequoia took the time to listen to both my husband and me, making sure our ideas were heard while also offering her own thoughtful suggestions. It meant even more knowing that she and her fiancé are also planning a wedding and had just gone through their own engagement shoot. She was super patient as we changed outfits and was helpful every step of the way.
One moment that really stood out she literally ran into an information center to get a newspaper-style prop printed for my husband to hold during the shoot. Later on, when she edited the photos, she customized it with our wedding date and “newlyweds” written on it. That extra touch meant so much!
Even after delivering our beautifully edited photos, she took the time to answer all of my husband’s follow-up questions. The photos came out stunning, we honestly couldn’t stop looking at them.
Sequoia is not only talented and innovative, but she truly cares. We’ll absolutely be booking with her again and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who goes above and beyond!
